Mission Statement
The mission of the Town of Stallings Code Enforcement
Officer is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the community through
fair, consistent, and professional enforcement of local ordinances. By
upholding property maintenance standards, land use regulations, and zoning
requirements, the Officer is committed to preserving the Town’s appearance,
supporting responsible development, and promoting a safe and high quality of
life for all residents and businesses.
Code Enforcement Duties and Enforcement
Responsibilities
The Code Enforcement Officer is a non-sworn position
responsible for enforcing municipal codes and ordinances related to property
maintenance, zoning, signage, nuisances, and other community standards. This
role conducts field inspections, investigates complaints, and works
collaboratively with property owners and businesses to achieve compliance.
The Code Enforcement Officer has authority to enforce the Town of Stallings
Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) and the Town of Stallings Code of
Ordinances. The enforcement of HOA guidelines/policies, neighborhood covenants
and criminal laws are not enforced.
