Facility Policies & Procedures

1. Any event or program sponsored or co-sponsored by the Town of Stallings will have scheduling priority in the use of ALL facilities. All Park and all Town facilities must be reserved through application. 

2. All facilities are open to all persons on a first come, first serve basis. Picnic Shelters and Arbors at Stallings Municipal Park and certain fields may be reserved by groups, organizations, or individuals if proper application is made and the request is consistent with adopted Town policy.

2. No profit making or fundraising activities are permitted within Town owned Parks or Facilities. Facilities cannot be used for sales presentations or sale/promotion of goods and services. Special exceptions may be made when the Town enters into a cooperative agreement with another community service agency. The rental fee charged will be consistent with the nature of the lessee and the intended activity. 

3. Reservation agreements must be signed by persons 21 years of age or older. When the planned activity is primarily for persons under 21 years of age, the person signing the reservation agreement must ensure that appropriate adult supervision will be on site during the event.

4. Groups may not charge an admission fee for activities in Town facilities. 

5. No types of chemicals, paints, toxins, tape, bubbles, silly string, glitter, flower petals, piñata or staples are to be used in or on any facility.

6. Parties consisting of 100 or more attendees will be required in their permitting to pay for 1 approved police officer for the duration of their event. A certificate of insurance naming the Town of Stallings as an additional insured is also required. (This can easily be obtained through car or homeowners insurance providers.)

7. Any use of amplified sound will be subject to all policies under the Town of Stallings Noise Control Ordinance 93.02.

8. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in Town Parks and Facilities. 

9. A signed Hold Harmless Statement and/or a Certificate of Liability Insurance form must be submitted with rental agreement.

10. No refunds will be given for rain, thunderstorms or inclement weather/natural disasters

11. The Town of Stallings reserves the right to refuse to rent any or all facilities to an individual or group.

12. A minimum of 2 business days is required for cancellations to be considered for a refund.

13. Any damages are the responsibility of the signed renter. Damage fees will be assessed and billed to the responsible party.
